The Lakes Barcelo Bavaro Golf Course is the first golf course ever built in the Bavaro – Punta Cana area over 20 years ago. The Lakes golf course was designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye who personally supervised and oversaw the entire process. The course was completed and opened in December 2010 for hotel guests and the general public alike.
This championship golf course keep his original essence, the rolling fairways that traverses trough a lush mangrove forest, with 25 inland lakes and 122 strategically positioned bunkers; the golf course capitalizes on the natural beauty of the Bávaro area, incorporating native plants and species, around it’s meticulously manicured greens providing you best playing surface with the highest industry standards.

Golf cart rates
All fees are per player, guest and per round; the use of a golf cart is mandatory, walking the course is not permitted.
The round of golf includes: 18 hole round of golf, beverages, warm-up bucket of range balls, free club storage, return trip transportation to your room, lockers, showers and local taxes included.

Dress Code
Collar shirts with sleeves are required for men, collar or sleeves are required for women, shorts must be walking length only. No swimming trunks, tennis shorts, cut-offs, jogging or gym attire will be allowed. Pants must be casual or dress slacks only. Absolutely no denim (blue) jeans, zubas, warm- ups, or sweat pants. Soft spikes or tennis shoes only, potentially damaging shoes will not be allowed on the golf course or practice area at any time
